Lydia Carollo is a Physician Assistant working with WMA’s internal medicine team.
She graduated from Syracuse University and received her medical training from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia. She chose her work, because she wanted to educate people on both the prevention of disease and management of illness. To Carollo, wellness requires both “taking care of yourself through diet, exercise, relationships, and spirituality, as well as taking care of others.”
Carollo is a Spanish language medical interpreter, and a member of the Western Massachusetts Council, Boy Scouts of America Executive Committee, as well as a participant in church and community choirs.
